Med over 40 år på bagen er bandet Frede Fup stadig aktive. Bandet blev startet i 1979 og huserede i 80’erne på de første Grønne Koncerter 83-84-85 og optrådte på stort set alle danske festivaler og spillesteder. I de følgende 30 år blev landevejene kørt tynde, og flere albums blev udsendt. I 2022 blev albummet ”Intelligæns” udgivet, endda på Fredes 75 års fødselsdag den 28. juni.
