The Danish singer and songwriter Arina Mai was described in the TV2 news as “a unique Danish pop debut”, when she released her Christian debut EP, Finally Home, in February 2023. After that, she could be seen in the national newspapers and on main radios, and she gave an interview and appeared with the title track “Finally Home” in TV2 Morning Show Denmark.

Her career took off. After the EP release February 23, Arina Mai played a support concert for the popular pop shot Warner music artist, Micky Skeel. Right after, she was on primetime TV in DR’s singing program STARSTRUCK, which ended up in a great quarter-final. The career is here to stay, in the summer of 2023 Arina Mai has performed both on the Danish Christian and non-Christian music scenes and festivals. Her fans are found in both crowds. She has an innate ability to gather and engaged her audiences, and delivers a great musical experience, together with her live band.

Arina Mai grew up in a small town near Copenhagen, Denmark. She began singing at the age of eight, wrote her first song when she was thirteen. She nurtured her vocal skills by singing in church choirs. By the age of 15, she leaped into recording her original works in high profile studios. Unfortunately, there were several traumatic episodes in Arina Mai’s life that prevented her from further persuing a career in the music business at that time. In 2017, Arina Mai was signed to a Danish label. One of the songs received a solid chart placement. When her contract ended, Arina Mai remained focused on her solo projects. In 2020 she established her own career, with her own team, just to do what she love to do, to sing. Same year, she hit with the song “Troubled mind”, which received airplay in 50 countries, radio interviews in, among others, Denmark, Canada and New York.
